Youth Housing Buchthalerstrasse

We offer supervised living places for nine adolescents and young adults in an educational or training program.  The 3 ½-room flats are each occupied by two adolescents/young adults.

The flats and rooms are available furnished but can be rearranged or supplemented with one’s own furniture upon request and consultation. The flats are all equipped with two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and balcony. Modern and inviting common rooms in and around the living area offer additional room for meeting.

Supervision takes place mornings and evenings outside of educational and training hours. A 24-hour on-call service is guaranteed in case of crises and emergencies. The residential location is regularly visited by a night watch team during the night.

Residential services are offered 365 days per year, either as a five-day-a-week boarding program or a seven-day-a-week residential program with weekends. Common meals and activities can counteract withdrawal and isolation tendencies and strengthen the willingness to deal with oneself and the group. Young people have the opportunity to practice everyday skills, to assume responsibility for themselves and for others, and to organize their free time.

The train station and the city center can be reached by public bus in eight minutes. There is a bus stop directly outside the front door.
