Altra employs around 180 people at Building 33 on the SIG site in Neuhausen. This makes the plant Altra's largest site in terms of personnel. Day in, day out, people are busy assembling, milling, drilling, screwing, packing and labeling. "Altra has several decades of experience in the industrial sector," says Sven Stückmann, Head of Marketing, Sales and Communication. "We are a valid partner for production and service orders in the industrial sector." Like many companies, Altra is also struggling with the consequences of low capacity utilization as a service provider in the industrial sector.
