Inclusion Council

Making inclusion tangible - living inclusion! The management of Altra has decided to implement the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD). The Inclusion Council accompanies and reviews this permanent confrontation of the management with the UN CRPD and its demands for inclusion.

"Inclusion" means that all people have the same rights. All people are allowed to have a say. All people belong, for example people with and without disabilities, men and women, people with light or dark skin.

The council, consisting of 15 people from the workforce, discusses findings, suggestions and impulses, which are developed and discussed at the self-organized monthly meetings, with the management. The council members take part in events on inclusion topics and in further training on self-advocacy.
